TYLOPUR food grades are a range of high quality methyl cellulose (E461) and hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (E464) products. They are produced in a specialized production plant in Germany where plant-based raw material is turned into these special food ingredients.TYLOPUR food grades have the unique property to gel when heated. Because of this thermal gelation, TYLOPUR provides bite to plant-based products, stability to reformed food and softness to gluten-free bread.

This product has a Natural Origin Index of 0,70-0,85 according to ISO 16128, thereby meeting the definition of the "bio-based and/or natural products" sustainability characteristic. PCF is available upon customer request.
