Jojoba oil is createwd by the cold pressing of the seeds of the jojoba. Native to southern Arizona, southern California and north-western Mexico, jojoba oil is moisturizing and ican be used on both the skin or the hair. Jojoba is also one of the most useful oils in aromatherapy due to its rare chemical structure which is good at mimicking skin collagen. It has a high vitamin E content as well as anti-oxidant properties which are beneficial anti-aging properties. Jojoba oil also contains B1, B2 and B6 which promote cell production and boost the immune system. Jojoba oil is an excellent ingredient in formulations for eczema, psoriasis and acne and adds moisturizing, nourishing and protectant qualities to any product and is commonly used in skin care formulations including moisturizing creams, lotions and balms as well as shampoo, conditioner, hair oil and massage blends.
