Olivem LV Flex is a very versatile oil-in-water (o/w) primary emulsifier. It is specifically designed for the development of light, hyperfluid and sprayable emulsions while ensuring a pleasant skin feel. It is able to emulsify a wide range of oils and shows good compatibility with various rheology modifiers between pH 3.5 and 8.5.Olivem LV Flex is of HLB 8 to 9, with recommended use level between 3 and 6%, It is compatible with all common oils and at 5% yields stable emulsions with up to 10% oils without a yield value additive and up to 20% oils with such an additive. As a self-emulsifier, Olivem LV Flex may also be used to prepare oil-free formulations, making use of its ability to form liquid crystal networks.Emulsions made with Olivem LV Flex are also salt tolerant when used with a suitable yield value additive and are compatible with up to 20% alcohol. Shelf life: 3 years.
